Emily Henson, an 18-year-old, found herself in a difficult situation when her mother, Mrs. Henson, pressured her into abandoning her newborn son in the hospital. Emily, who was still financially dependent on her parents, had no choice but to comply despite wanting to keep the baby. Her boyfriend, Shaun, was supportive, but Mrs. Henson made Emily cut off contact with him during her pregnancy.
After Emily left the baby at the hospital, the next morning, the child went missing. The hospital informed Mrs. Henson that they suspected who had taken the baby, leading her to discover that her husband, Mr. Henson, had taken the baby and fled to Shaun’s house with Emily. Mr. Henson and Emily refused to abandon the child, and the police warned Mrs. Henson that Emily, being an adult, could make her own decisions.
Fed up with Mrs. Henson’s controlling nature, Mr. Henson announced his intention to divorce her. He later moved in with Emily, Shaun, and their son, Albert, while Mrs. Henson was left alone, dealing with the consequences of her actions.
