2 MIN AGO: Candace Parker ROASTS Jemele Hill For HATING Caitlin Clark | This is BAD!

Candace Parker Defends Caitlin Clark Amid Jemele Hill Criticism

WNBA icon Candace Parker has fired back at media commentator Jemele Hill, who has criticized rising star Caitlin Clark. Parker called out Hill for targeting Clark instead of supporting the growth of women’s basketball.

“You don’t elevate the game by tearing down the one person bringing millions of new fans to it,” Parker said. “Caitlin’s not the problem. The problem is the hate disguised as critique.”

Hill has questioned whether Clark’s popularity is driven by media bias, suggesting other Black WNBA players receive less recognition despite greater achievements. This sparked a heated debate on race, media favoritism, and fairness in the league.

Parker, a two-time champion and MVP, stressed, “We’ve fought for decades to get eyes on this league. Now Caitlin sells jerseys and fills arenas — and we nitpick her because she’s popular? That’s small thinking.”

While fans remain divided online, Clark stays focused on winning, saying, “I don’t pay attention to that.”

This conflict highlights broader issues about representation and respect in women’s basketball.
