
Teen Driver and Co-Driver Tragically Killed in New Zealand Rally Sprint Crash
A devastating accident at the Arcadia Road Rallysprint in Paparoa, New Zealand, claimed the lives of teen racer Brooklyn Horan and his 35-year-old co-driver, Tyson Jemmett. The tragedy occurred when their car veered off a gravel road and plunged into a flooded river during the high-speed event.
According to police reports, the vehicle lost control and left the track mid-race. Despite rapid response from emergency crews, both Horan and Jemmett were pronounced dead at the scene.
MotorSport New Zealand later confirmed that Horan, a promising young driver, was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the motorsport community, with tributes pouring in for both men. Fans and fellow racers described Horan as a rising talent and Jemmett as a dedicated and experienced co-driver.
