Washington Father Accused of Killing Three Daughters May Be Hiding Off-Grid
Authorities in Washington are intensifying their search for Travis Decker, a 32-year-old Army veteran accused of murdering his three daughters during a supervised visitation. The tragic incident has devastated the Wenatchee community and shattered their mother, Whitney.
“Travis, if you’re out there seeing this, please turn yourself in,” urged Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison.
Paityn (9), Evelyn (8), and Olivia (5) were last seen on May 30, 2025. When Decker failed to return them after a routine three-hour visit, concerns escalated. Days later, their bodies were discovered near an abandoned truck at Rock Island campground. The crime scene revealed chilling evidence: zip ties, plastic bags, and bloodied handprints.
Authorities believe Decker meticulously planned the act and has since gone off-grid. “He’s trained to survive in isolation,” Morrison said, noting Decker’s history of mental illness and untreated borderline personality disorder.
A GoFundMe for Whitney has raised over $330,000 as the search continues. Decker is considered armed and dangerous.
Rest in peace, Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia. Your light endures.
