Virginia Giuffre’s Family Slams Trump Over Maxwell Pardon Comments

The family of Virginia Giuffre has expressed deep shock and outrage after former President Donald Trump claimed she was “stolen” from Mar-a-Lago, where she worked as a teen in 2000. Giuffre, a leading voice for sexual abuse survivors, tragically died by suicide in April.

In a statement, her family demanded Trump not pardon Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex trafficker linked to Jeffrey Epstein. “Was he aware of Epstein and Maxwell’s actions?” they asked, citing Trump’s past comments about Epstein “liking women on the younger side.”

The family condemned any leniency for Maxwell, stressing: “It was Maxwell who preyed on Virginia when she was just 16.” They urged leaders to respect Virginia’s legacy and protect survivors.

Trump has claimed he’s “allowed” to pardon Maxwell, who’s serving a 20-year sentence. Controversy grew after Maxwell reportedly met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, Trump’s former lawyer.

Giuffre’s family emphasized: “The President should never consider giving Maxwell any leniency.”
