Trump Slams Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel, Predicts Their TV Exit
Donald Trump has taken fresh aim at late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel, predicting they could soon be out of their jobs.
During a press conference on August 6, the former US President called both comedians “talentless” and hinted their shows may be next to face cancellation—following Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show, which ended on July 17.
“I hear they’re going to be going,” Trump said, claiming Fallon and Kimmel bring in fewer viewers than Colbert, whom he also branded as lacking talent. “They’re next,” he warned.
The remarks follow a July 29 Truth Social post where Trump mocked Fallon as “weak and insecure” and dubbed Kimmel “even less talented.” He added, “The only real question is, who will go first?”
Trump also took a swipe at Howard Stern, saying the radio host lost his audience after endorsing Hillary Clinton. “When he went down, people said, ‘Give me a break,’” Trump remarked.
According to Trump, the “hate-Trump business model” that fueled many comedians’ careers “hasn’t worked for a long time” and is now catching up with them.
