Few people know LeBron James better than Dwyane Wade. They’re best friends, championship teammates, and future Hall of Famers. Yet in a resurfaced clip that recently went viral, Wade made it clear: his GOAT will always be Michael Jordan.
“LeBron is amazing… but Jordan is my GOAT,” Wade said.
Wade praised LeBron’s career, noting that once he retires, his stats may be unmatched: “When he’s done, his statistical lineup is gonna be the greatest that has ever played the game when it comes to scoring, assists, rebounds.”
Still, Wade’s choice is shaped by his roots. Growing up in Chicago, Jordan wasn’t just a player — he was an escape. “I made it out of the hood because I saw No. 23 do things on the court that made me believe I could.”
For Wade, it’s generational. LeBron is this era’s legend, but Jordan inspired him to pick up a basketball. And that, he says, will never change.
