Iman Shumpert Names LeBron Greatest, But Jordan Remains His GOAT

Iman Shumpert, former NBA champion and LeBron James teammate, shared his take on the greatest basketball player of all time during an interview on The Dan Patrick Show. While he called LeBron “the greatest player of all time” for his unique combination of physical dominance and basketball IQ, Shumpert still ranks Michael Jordan as his personal GOAT.

Born and raised in Illinois, Shumpert reflected on the emotional pull of Jordan: “There are Jordan jerseys everywhere. I’m ranking more on winning and how it felt having a player like that on my favorite team.”

He emphasized there’s no hate in the debate and that LeBron understands his perspective. For Shumpert, Jordan is the GOAT, LeBron is the most complete player ever, and discussions about greatness are meant for conversation, not conflict.
