Legendary actor Harrison Ford turned real-life hero after stopping to assist a woman whose car veered off the road and crashed along California State Route 126.
According to reports, the Indiana Jones star, 75, was driving near Santa Paula when he witnessed a gray sedan lose control, roll over, and hit a tree. Without hesitation, Ford and several other drivers pulled over to help rescue the woman before emergency services arrived.
“He acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else,” said Santa Paula Police Senior Officer Matt Alonzo. Ford and the group managed to pull the woman safely from the vehicle. She was later taken to a nearby hospital with only minor injuries.
Photos circulating online show Ford calmly speaking with first responders at the scene. The actor was reportedly leaving a small nearby airport, which he often uses for his hobby flying.
Known for his aviation adventures, Ford has experienced two plane crashes himself — yet once again proved he’s as brave off-screen as he is on it.
“A true hero on and off the big screen,” one fan commented.
