Eric Trump, son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, made headlines after alleging that officials within the Biden administration tried to orchestrate a divorce between his father and Melania Trump. Speaking on Rob Schmitt’s Newsmax show on September 30, Eric claimed the move was part of a broader attempt to “separate our family” and damage Donald Trump’s public image.
Defending his father, Eric insisted they’ve been constant targets of political “abuse,” adding that authorities “came after me like I was a dog.” However, he provided no evidence to support his dramatic claims about efforts to break up the former president’s marriage.
Donald Trump, now 79, has been married three times. His first marriage to Ivana Trump produced three children—Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. After divorcing in 1992, he wed actress Marla Maples in 1993, with whom he shares a daughter, Tiffany. Trump later married former Slovenian model Melania in 2005, and they share one son, Barron.
While Eric’s allegations stirred debate, no proof has emerged linking the Biden administration to the Trumps’ private affairs.
