Angel Reese Snubbed from WNBA All-Star Roster — and She’s Not Taking It Lightly
Once hailed as the face of college basketball, Angel Reese now finds herself on the outside looking in — left off the 2025 WNBA All-Star roster.
Despite ranking among the top rookies in rebounds and serving as a defensive anchor for the Chicago Sky, Reese didn’t make the cut. Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark — a fellow rookie and media sensation — did. Fans erupted online, flooding platforms with hashtags like #AngelReeseSnubbed and #ClarkOverReese.
“I know what this is. Don’t worry. I’m watching too,” Reese posted before deleting the tweet.
In contrast, Clark’s spot is widely praised — she leads all rookies in assists and has fueled record-breaking WNBA ratings. But Reese supporters argue the league favors marketability over impact.
Reese has since turned her frustration into fuel. She’s vowed to let her performance speak in the season’s second half. “I’m not asking to be liked. I’m asking to be respected,” she told reporters.
With tension rising and eyes locked on the court, the league’s next chapter could be written by the one they overlooked.
