A high-speed pursuit led by the Arkansas State Police concluded dramatically after a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver resulted in a suspect’s vehicle flipping over. The incident occurred late Tuesday evening on a rural highway, after troopers attempted to stop a vehicle linked to multiple felony charges.

According to officials, the driver refused to pull over, initiating a dangerous chase through multiple counties. Speeds exceeded 100 mph, endangering motorists and pedestrians. Troopers maintained a calculated response, waiting for the right moment to execute a PIT maneuver—an advanced tactic designed to safely end pursuits by nudging the fleeing vehicle’s rear, causing it to spin out.
