Barack and Michelle Obama Address Divorce Rumors with Honesty and Grace

Appearing on Michelle’s IMO podcast alongside her brother, Barack jokingly noted, “She took me back! It was touch and go for a while,” to which Michelle responded, “Folks think we’re divorced.”

But Michelle made it clear: “There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quitting my man. We’ve had really hard times—but also fun, adventure, and growth. I’ve become a better person because of him.”

She also reflected on his devotion as a father: “He was engaged from the start—changing diapers, sharing responsibilities equally. That bond with our daughters still shows today.”
