Brad Pitt to star in Quentin Tarantino’s final film ‘The Movie Critic’

Brad Pitt is set to reunite with Quentin Tarantino for the third time in the director’s upcoming 10th film, “The Movie Critic.” As reported by Deadline, Pitt, known for his roles in “Inglourious Basterds” and “Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood,” will star in Tarantino’s latest project.

“The Movie Critic” marks the duo’s third collaboration, following Pitt’s acclaimed performance in “Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood,” which earned him a Best Supporting Actor Oscar. Their previous partnership also includes the 2009 war film “Inglourious Basterds.”

Produced by Stacey Sher and distributed by Sony Pictures, “The Movie Critic” is set in 1977 California and centers around a critic who writes reviews for a publication called The Popstar Pages, known for its adult content.

According to Tarantino, the protagonist is a character who lived without achieving fame, crafting reviews that blend cynicism with a unique perspective. He describes the character’s style as a mix of early Howard Stern and the gritty essence of Travis Bickle.

While casting details beyond Pitt’s involvement remain unconfirmed, speculation suggests potential appearances from Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Paul Walter Hauser, and John Travolta.

Despite the star-studded lineup and anticipation surrounding Tarantino’s final film, “The Movie Critic” is yet to receive a release date. Fans eagerly await further updates on this highly anticipated project.
