Bronny James Shines in Las Vegas Summer League
From G League prospect to rising NBA talent, Bronny James is turning heads this summer. During Monday night’s Las Vegas Summer League matchup against the Clippers, the Lakers guard posted 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in just 24 minutes, showcasing his growing confidence and efficiency.
Despite the Lakers’ 67–58 loss, Bronny impressed with a shooting line of 6-for-10 from the field and 3-for-5 from three-point range. At halftime, he had already recorded 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, shooting a perfect 100% from the floor.
Fans flooded social media with praise:
“Bronny James looking REALLY COMFORTABLE out there!”
“Year 2 about to be a movie,” read another.
After averaging nearly 22 points in his final 11 G League games last season, Bronny is showing steady growth under new coach JJ Redick. Focusing on conditioning, defense, and professionalism, the Lakers’ second-round pick is quickly emerging as a potential rotation player.
If this Summer League performance is any indication, Year 2 may be Bronny’s breakout season.
