Dr. Phil Praises Trump’s “Deep Faith” During National Day of Prayer — Internet Reacts

During the National Day of Prayer at the White House, former President Donald Trump was surrounded by faith leaders as they prayed over him on the lawn. While the moment itself was notable, it was Dr. Phil’s unexpected appearance and remarks that set social media ablaze.

“I’ve sat with President Trump with no cameras, no one watching,” Dr. Phil said. “He’s a man of deep faith, deep conviction… He truly cares for every American.”

Dr. Phil’s emotional endorsement praised Trump’s moral compass and desire to restore heart and religion to the country. “God bless you, Mr. President,” he added at the end of his speech.

But online reactions were swift — and savage.

One user quipped, “Trump is a man of deep conviction in the same way Dr. Phil is a real doctor.” Others called out the irony, demanding Trump be asked to name and explain a Bible verse.

Despite the sincere tone from Dr. Phil, much of the internet wasn’t buying it — and they let it be known.
