Dwyane Wade Explains Why Michael Jordan Is His GOAT

Few players understand LeBron James like Dwyane Wade. They are friends, former championship teammates, and future Hall of Famers. Yet in a resurfaced viral clip, Wade admits his heart still belongs to Michael Jordan.

“LeBron is amazing… but Jordan is my GOAT,” Wade said candidly.

Wade praised LeBron’s career, noting, “If LeBron James becomes the No. 1 scorer of all time, top five in assists and rebounds, and has four, five, six championships, you have to have the conversation about who’s the greatest.”

But Wade admits timing matters. “It’s hard to have the conversation while a man is still playing. When he’s done, his stats might be the greatest ever in scoring, assists, and rebounds.”

Still, his choice is personal:

“I come from a Jordan era. I am biased and I’ll be biased till the day I pass away. Michael Jordan will always be my GOAT. I started playing the game because of him.”

Growing up in Chicago, Jordan’s influence was transformative. LeBron may dominate this generation, but for Wade, No. 23 in red and black will always wear the crown.
