Elon Musk Calls for Trump’s Impeachment Amid Explosive Fallout
Elon Musk has ignited a political firestorm after publicly calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump, citing alleged links to the Jeffrey Epstein papers. In a viral tweet, Musk endorsed a post suggesting Vice President JD Vance should replace Trump — signaling a dramatic rift between the former allies.
The feud comes just days after Musk resigned from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Making matters worse, an old image of Musk wearing a hat that read “Trump was right about everything” resurfaced online, drawing ridicule and being dubbed “aged like milk.”
At the center of the dispute is Trump’s controversial “One Big Beautiful Bill”, which proposes tax exemptions for Social Security, overtime pay, and tips — a policy Musk reportedly opposed.
“This was an unfortunate episode,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, defending the bill as a move to slash government waste.
Speaking on Fox News, Leavitt added, “Musk speaks for his companies. President Trump speaks for America.”
