A family’s weekend getaway took a heartbreaking turn when a tragic accident on a rain-slicked rural highway claimed the lives of two young children.

According to local reports, the family had set out early for a short trip filled with excitement and plans for adventure. But midway through their journey, their vehicle reportedly lost control due to wet road conditions and poor visibility, veering off the highway before crashing into an embankment.
