Florida Sheriff Issues Dire Warning to Violent Protesters
As anti-ICE protests spread nationwide—reaching cities like Los Angeles and potentially Washington D.C. during Trump’s birthday parade—Florida’s Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey has issued a stark message.
In a fiery press conference, Sheriff Ivey warned that protestors engaging in violence will face immediate and harsh consequences.
“If you block roads, flee arrest, or mob cars, expect to be jailed—or worse,” he said.
He added that assaults on law enforcement will not be tolerated:
“If you assault or spit on deputies, you’ll end up in the hospital and then in jail.”
Ivey’s most chilling statement came next:
“If you attack with deadly force, we’ll notify your family where to collect your remains. We will kill you, graveyard dead.”
Known for his tough rhetoric, Ivey previously drew attention for mocking marijuana seizures online and was sued over public shaming videos of detainees.
As tensions rise nationwide, Ivey’s uncompromising stance underscores the widening divide over law enforcement and protest rights.
