Isiah Thomas Names LeBron James Better Than Michael Jordan
The debate over the NBA’s greatest player continues to ignite discussion, and Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas has added his bold perspective. The legendary former Detroit Pistons point guard, a two-time champion and 12-time All-Star, didn’t hold back when comparing LeBron James to Michael Jordan.
Speaking to mlive.com, Thomas praised LeBron’s all-around game: “He leads in almost every category. He’s surpassed Kareem in scoring and has the most points in the playoffs. When we look at assists, I believe he has even surpassed Magic Johnson.”
Thomas highlighted LeBron’s unique versatility: scoring, passing, rebounding, and consistency across multiple stats. “There’s never been another player like him,” Thomas said, emphasizing LeBron’s unprecedented dominance.
Acknowledging different opinions, Thomas remained firm: “Everyone has their favorites, but if the numbers don’t lie, they don’t lie. For me, he’s the best I’ve seen, both as a player and in terms of team impact.”
Given Thomas’ historical rivalry with Jordan, his endorsement of LeBron adds extra weight to the GOAT conversation.
