JD Vance Sparks Outrage with Vulgar Gesture Amid Trump’s Controversial Remarks
Vice President JD Vance is facing widespread backlash after making an obscene gesture during a public speech in Ohio—just minutes after President Donald Trump made headlines for explicit comments on the Iran-Israel conflict.
Speaking at a Republican dinner, Vance mocked Washington critics, saying, “In D.C., they have this sign… I think it means we’re No. 1,” before raising his middle finger. He added, “All the pink-haired people throw up this sign, and I choose to take it as a symbol in Washington.”
The incident came shortly after Trump’s fiery remarks to the press, where he criticized both Iran and Israel for violating ceasefire terms. Trump used explicit language, saying, “They don’t know what the f**k they are doing.”
Social media exploded with outrage. One user wrote, “JD Vance and Trump are a disgrace to America!” Another added, “Remember when leaders showed class?”
Despite tensions, the ceasefire between Iran and Israel remains intact, and Trump later posted on Truth Social affirming peace efforts.
“Nobody will be hurt. Ceasefire is in effect!” he wrote.
