A24 has unveiled the complete cast for its upcoming film “Death of a Unicorn,” featuring Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, and Will Poulter. The movie, directed by Alex Scharfman in his directorial debut, follows Rudd and Ortega as a father-daughter duo who accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat. The plot unfolds as they discover the unicorn’s miraculous healing properties, and Rudd’s billionaire boss, played by Richard E. Grant, aims to exploit them. The diverse cast also includes Téa Leoni, Anthony Carrigan, Sunita Mani, Jessica Hynes, and Stephen Park. A24, in collaboration with Ley Line Entertainment, co-financed and globally distributed the film, with a release date yet to be announced.
