Kim Kardashian is finally opening up about the real reason she ended her marriage to Kanye West after nearly seven years and four children together. While the high-profile couple officially divorced in 2022, Kardashian says the cracks began long before, fueled by unpredictable behavior and emotional turmoil. From public controversies to Kanye’s shocking comments about their family, Kim admits living in constant uncertainty became too much to bear.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the SKIMS founder recalled waking up each day not knowing what version of Kanye she would face. “You never know what you’re going to get,” she said, calling the instability “unsettling.” The tipping point came when private family matters — including a claim they once considered terminating her first pregnancy — were aired publicly. Kim explained she no longer felt emotionally or financially secure, recalling a moment when five Lamborghinis vanished from their home after one of Kanye’s episodes.
Kim also reflected on supporting Kanye through public struggles but felt powerless when he refused to make changes. “It makes it really hard to continue in a toxic relationship,” she admitted, emphasizing how difficult leaving was with children involved. Her decision, she explained, came down to protecting her emotional wellbeing and creating stability for her family.
Despite the pain, Kim says she holds no regrets. She now focuses on co-parenting peacefully and embracing her independence — even down to choosing her own outfits. “I have four amazing, beautiful babies,” she said, calling them the ultimate reward as she moves forward and welcomes a healthier future.
