Did Trump Just Subtly Criticize Harry and Meghan?
During his recent visit to the UK, former U.S. President Donald Trump stirred up speculation online with comments many believe were aimed at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
While meeting UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and his wife at Trump’s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland, Trump made headlines for both awkward moments—like calling London Mayor Sadiq Khan a “nasty person”—and cryptic remarks about the Royal Family.
Speaking warmly of King Charles and Queen Camilla, Trump said, “They are great people. They really are.” However, he followed with a veiled comment: “You could have people that weren’t great… I don’t know if I can say that, but you could have people that weren’t.”
Many believe this was a subtle jab at Harry and Meghan, who left royal duties in 2021 and moved to California.
“He’s the best at throwing shade,” one commenter said, while others felt it was a reach.
Still, the internet buzzed with theories, with one user summing it up: “Trump has no problem calling them out.”
