Tragic news has emerged nearly four weeks after the disappearance of 19-year-old Jay Slater from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire. Human remains found in Tenerife have been confirmed to be Jay’s, following his disappearance after a night out.

The Spanish Civil Guard confirmed the identification through forensic fingerprint tests. Jay’s body, discovered in a rocky area near his clothing and personal items, revealed multiple traumas from a fall. This tragic discovery occurred 29 days after Jay went missing, prompting an extensive search effort.
