Terrifying Surprise: Colorado Mom Discovers Snakes Living Inside Her New Home Walls
After years of saving, 42-year-old Amber Hall was thrilled to buy her first home — a charming four-bedroom house in Centennial, Colorado. With a big backyard perfect for her kids and dogs, everything seemed ideal… until she made a chilling discovery.
“My dog started acting strange near the garage door,” Amber recalled. “Then I saw it — snakes slithering inside the wall.”
Amber quickly realized she wasn’t dealing with a one-time intruder. She’s already found around 10 large garter snakes — and fears many more are lurking. Experts believe the reptiles may have lived undisturbed in the walls for two years.
Understandably shaken, Amber hired a professional snake wrangler to safely remove them, already spending over $1,000. But peace of mind remains elusive. “I can’t even unpack. I’m scared they’re hiding in boxes or under my bed,” she said.
She’s now considering tearing up concrete to uncover the nest.
“This is every homeowner’s worst nightmare.”
