Newly released Epstein flight logs include notable anchor known as ‘the most trusted man in America’

Walter Cronkite’s Name Appears in Newly Released Jeffrey Epstein Flight Logs

Newly unsealed flight records from Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet have revealed an unexpected name — Walter Cronkite, the legendary CBS News anchor once hailed as “the most trusted man in America.”

The latest release from the House Oversight Committee (October 17) lists Cronkite among passengers on a 2007 flight from Newark, New Jersey, to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, when he was 90 years old. Epstein, who was on board, was known for hosting elite guests at his Caribbean properties.

Officials emphasized that no one named in the documents has been accused of any crime, including Cronkite, who passed away in 2009. Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi also clarified that there is no official “client list,” though Epstein’s jet logs remain under scrutiny.

The document batch also includes testimony from former U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta, who defended Epstein’s controversial 2008 plea deal, arguing it was the only way to ensure some accountability.

Quote: “It was better to have a billionaire serve time and register as a sex offender than risk total acquittal,” Acosta stated.

Cronkite’s name now joins a list of high-profile figures — including Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump — mentioned in Epstein’s decades of flight records.
