Ozzy Osbourne’s Emotional Farewell: Final Concert, Health Struggles & Legacy
By 2025, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne knew his time was limited. At 76, battling Parkinson’s and other serious health conditions, the Prince of Darkness made one final wish: to thank his fans with a goodbye concert in Birmingham, where Black Sabbath began in 1968.
Despite limited mobility and years away from the stage, Ozzy trained hard for this one-night-only event on July 5, 2025. He was joined by Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, and special guests like Metallica and Pantera. All proceeds supported Parkinson’s and children’s charities.
Ozzy had suffered numerous health setbacks—four spinal surgeries, a Parkinson’s diagnosis, and a near-crippling fall. Yet, in interviews, he remained grateful: “For all my complaining, I’m still alive.” His voice, miraculously, remained strong.
The concert was more than music—it was a message of gratitude. Seventeen days later, on July 22, Ozzy passed away surrounded by family.
“He feels like he’s never had a chance to say thank you,” Sharon shared. “Now he has.”
A legend said goodbye, not with silence—but with song.
