Kate Martin Shines with Valkyries While Celebrating Love with Girlfriend Claire Gransee

Kate Martin, former college teammate of Caitlin Clark and a rising WNBA guard, is having a strong 2025 season with the Golden State Valkyries. After a rookie year with the Las Vegas Aces—where she averaged 2.6 points and 0.9 assists—Martin was picked in the 2024 Expansion Draft. This season, she’s boosted her production to 7.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, hitting 33.3% from beyond the arc.

Off the court, Martin’s personal life is flourishing. She has been dating Claire Gransee, an Iowa grad and human resources professional in Boston, since June 2024.
