President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., is once again at the center of controversy after sharing a series of birthday photos of his youngest son, Spencer, on Instagram.
The 47-year-old businessman posted 12 pictures celebrating Spencer’s 13th birthday, writing, “Happy birthday to the littlest of my little men. Spencer, I can’t believe you’re 13. I love you and can’t wait to get back into the outdoors with you.”
However, several of the photos showed the teenager holding guns and hunting, which quickly sparked backlash online. Critics questioned why a young teen was engaging in hunting activities, with one user commenting, “Not even 13 and already holding a gun. Truly sick.”
Trump Jr., an outspoken supporter of gun rights and trophy hunting, has faced similar criticism before. In 2019, his $75,000 Mongolia hunting trip and the alleged illegal shooting of a rare Argali sheep drew global scrutiny. More recently, he was investigated in Italy for allegedly shooting a protected bird species.
Despite the backlash, Trump Jr. continues to defend his hunting lifestyle as part of his family’s outdoor traditions.
