A struggling single mother, Mary, buys a pair of baby shoes for her daughter at a flea market, only to discover a disturbing note hidden inside the insole. The note reveals that a woman and her daughter are imprisoned by a psychopath. Despite initial doubts from her mother and even the police, Mary feels compelled to investigate.

After following the suspect into a forest, she stumbles upon a hidden cellar in a cabin. Inside, she finds the woman and child held captive for three years. Just as they attempt to escape, the kidnapper returns. However, through quick thinking and a desperate phone call to the police, Mary alerts authorities, who rescue the captives.

The kidnapper, traumatized by the loss of his family, had abducted the woman and child, believing the woman resembled his late wife. Thanks to Mary’s bravery, the captives are freed, and justice is served.
