Donald Trump Dismisses “Body Double” Rumors After Viral Photos
Former President Donald Trump is once again shutting down wild conspiracy theories, this time over claims that he’s either secretly ill or even replaced by a “stunt double.”
Photos Spark Online Speculation
The rumors reignited after Trump returned to the Oval Office on September 2, following a brief public absence. Paparazzi photos quickly spread online, with some users insisting his appearance looked different.
“Maybe it’s just me, but that doesn’t look like Trump at all,” one user wrote on X. Others joked, “That’s his stunt double,” and, “Okay maybe he is dying.”
Similar theories surfaced earlier in June, when photos from a NATO summit made Trump appear shorter than expected next to world leaders. Experts say posture, footwear, and camera angles easily explain the differences.
Trump Fires Back
Trump responded on Truth Social in trademark fashion:
“NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE. Also, DC IS A CRIME FREE ZONE!”
Vance Defends Trump’s Health
Vice President JD Vance also dismissed the speculation, saying:
“The president is in incredibly good health… the last to bed, first to wake up.”
Trump’s message is clear—he’s healthy, active, and very much present.
