Rosie O’Donnell Reconnects with Estranged Daughter Chelsea in Heartwarming Post
On July 8, 2025, Rosie O’Donnell shared a rare and touching screenshot of a FaceTime call with her daughter Chelsea and grandson Atlas, captioning it:
“chelsea atlas and me #welldone”
The moment sparked positive reactions online, with fans cheering on Chelsea’s recovery after a troubled past.
Chelsea O’Donnell, 27, faced legal issues in late 2024, pleading guilty to meth possession, bail violations, and resisting arrest. She’s now serving six years of probation. Two other charges were dropped. Rosie previously confirmed:
“Chelsea is in a rehabilitation program and doing quite well. We’re proud of her.”
During her daughter’s legal turmoil, Rosie removed Chelsea from her $80 million will. In turn, Chelsea changed her last name to Neuens, honoring her birth mother.
Rosie has since relocated to Ireland for a fresh start with her son, Clay, who has autism. She described the move as:
“A godsend truly… full of empathy and compassion.”
Despite past struggles, Rosie’s recent post reflects healing. With Ireland as her sanctuary, she’s showing the world that love, growth, and second chances are always possible—especially within family.
