Sonia wept at her own wedding, marrying a wealthy old man to save her family. On their wedding night, he went to the bathroom and, when he came out, she almost fainted…

Sonia returned home with a suitcase and broken hopes, and got a job as a cashier in a store. The work was humble, the pay barely enough, but it kept the lights on and food on the table. Yet, every evening, as she counted her meager earnings, Sonia’s resolve only grew stronger.

She remembered her father’s words: “We will move forward, the important thing is to stay united.” With that in mind, Sonia began small — helping neighbors balance budgets, offering advice to local farmers on managing expenses. Word spread, and soon she was assisting more people in her community.

Slowly, Sonia saved enough to start a small financial consulting service for the village. Her clients were often struggling families just like hers. She taught them how to manage debts, save money, and plan for the future. The business grew, and with it, hope.

Her younger brother Alexey, inspired by her determination, began studying hard as well. Together, they proved that even from the humblest beginnings, knowledge and perseverance could change their destiny.

Sonia never forgot the nights by the window, dreaming of a better life. Now, she was not just dreaming — she was building it.
