Trump Unleashes New Insult for Biden at Pennsylvania Rally
Donald Trump returned to criticizing President Joe Biden at a rally in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, abandoning his usual nicknames in favor of a harsher barb. Known for labels like “Sleepy Joe” and “Crooked Joe,” Trump told the crowd he could gauge public opinion without polls, simply by asking rallygoers which nickname they preferred.
“Typically, ‘Crooked Joe’ wins,” he said, before adding, “I’m surprised, because to me, he’s a sleepy son of a b—.”
Comments on “Chief of Staff”
Trump also touched on the title “chief of staff,” referencing Native American objections, but argued they “actually want their name used,” praising the staffer Wiles as “fantastic.”
Economy Remains a Focal Point
Amid growing voter concerns over the economy, Trump continued blaming Biden for inflation, despite prices beginning to stabilize in 2022. He claimed his administration is lowering costs, stating: “We’re bringing prices way down… the Democrats caused the affordability problem, and we’re the ones fixing it.” Analysts note that Trump’s previous tariffs contributed to higher prices, complicating the economic debate as he campaigns for 2024.
