Former President Donald Trump’s recent hospital stay has sparked renewed interest in his health after months of speculation. Earlier this year, Trump was spotted with a large bruise on his hand, which his team reportedly tried to conceal with makeup. The 79-year-old was later diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)—a condition caused by damaged leg veins that affect blood flow.

According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Trump visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center earlier this month for his annual checkup. However, reports indicate he had previously visited the facility in April as well.

Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump confirmed he underwent an MRI scan on October 10, saying,

“We had an MRI, and it was perfect… the best reports they’ve ever seen.”

Though he declined to reveal why the scan was needed, Trump assured reporters of his excellent health.

Despite viral rumors about his wellbeing earlier this year, Vice President JD Vance dismissed concerns, saying Trump remains energetic, driven, and “the first to rise and last to sleep.”
