Donald Trump’s Health & Hand Bruises Raise Questions, But Experts Say He’s Fine
At 79, Donald Trump has become the oldest U.S. president to take office—and naturally, his health is under the microscope. A recent report by White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella confirmed that Trump remains in “excellent cognitive and physical health,” noting normal scans, an active routine, and medications for cholesterol, heart health, and a skin condition.
But visible hand bruises and deep wrinkles have sparked speculation. First seen during Trump’s hush money trial and again during his visit with French President Emmanuel Macron, the marks drew public attention. While the White House attributed them to excessive handshaking, Trump said they’re the result of “meeting thousands of people.”
Medical experts like Dr. Ola Otulana explained the bruises are likely due to minor trauma or age-related skin thinning, especially if Trump takes blood thinners. “There’s no major concern here,” Otulana added.
As for rumors circulating online—like claims of Trump wearing a catheter at a UFC event—most are unfounded and widely dismissed.
Despite public curiosity, Trump’s medical team insists he’s fully fit to serve.
