Are the Trumps Time Travelers? The Bizarre Theory Fueling Internet Conspiracies
A bizarre yet persistent conspiracy theory has resurfaced online, suggesting that the Trump family may be time travelers—fueled by uncanny parallels between real-life figures and 19th-century fiction. The intrigue centers around Baron Trump’s Marvelous Underground Journey, an 1893 novel by Ingersoll Lockwood, which describes a young aristocrat named “Baron” who lives in “Castle Trump” and is mentored by a character named “Don.”
The similarities are uncanny: Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s youngest son; “Don,” a nod to Donald; and the boy’s fantastical journey beneath the earth, seen by some as a metaphor for “draining the swamp.”
Adding fuel to the theory is Lockwood’s later book The Last President, which features a New York outsider who shocks the nation by winning the presidency and appoints a man named “Pence” as his key advisor.
While many dismiss these connections as coincidences, others claim the Trump saga was foretold—suggesting secret knowledge or time travel is at play. Whether eerie foreshadowing or internet fantasy, the theory continues to fascinate conspiracy enthusiasts worldwide.
