At 36, Curry has expressed a desire to compete at an elite level until around age 40. His current contract extends until 2026, and he has not ruled out the possibility of changing teams either through free agency in two summers or via trade during the 2025-2026 season. While he hasn’t denied wanting to retire as a Warrior, Curry acknowledges the business side of basketball for all involved parties.
