Reese humorously admitted, “I don’t even think [the WNBA salary] pays one of my bills,” revealing that her rent alone is $8,000, which left many viewers in shock.

Reese’s WNBA salary for the 2024 season is $73,439, a fraction of her $1.8 million NIL value from her LSU days. Fans expressed concern over her spending habits, with one user commenting, “$8k for rent? That’s insane.” Others suggested she seek financial advice.

Despite the criticism, Reese remains financially successful, largely due to her NIL deals, making her one of the top-earning athletes off the court.
