‘Wheel of Fortune’ Player Stuns Internet After Solving This $65k Puzzle Super Fast

Minnesota Contestant Stuns With Instant Bonus Round Solve on Wheel of Fortune

Delinda Rood of Rosemount, Minnesota, delivered one of the season’s most shocking Wheel of Fortune moments, instantly solving her Bonus Round puzzle and walking away with $65,650. Appearing on the November 4 episode with fellow contestants Justin Zamora and Shateria Smith, Rood initially had a slow start but quickly found her rhythm. After missing the first toss-up, she struck early by grabbing the second solve, “Practical Joker,” securing $2,000 and setting the tone for her standout performance.

As the game progressed, Zamora landed a major win with “Candy Girl You Are My World,” earning $12,549 and a trip to Norway. Smith also made headlines by securing the One Million Dollar Wedge after solving “Summer & Boot Camp.” But momentum shifted when Smith stumbled on a later puzzle, allowing Rood to leap ahead by solving “Spoil Yourself At The Spa,” which earned her a trip to Scottsdale and boosted her total to $10,950.

Rood continued building steam in the triple toss-up round, solving two puzzles before clinching her Bonus Round spot with “A Tough Nut To Crack.” Entering the final round at $20,650, she chose the category “Around the House,” joined by her husband and daughter as the final letters appeared on the board: _ARM _ _ _LT. Without hesitation, she confidently declared, “Warm Quilt!”

Host Ryan Seacrest was stunned by the near-instant solve, announcing a $45,000 Bonus Round prize that brought her total to $65,650. Rood simply smiled and said, “I knew it,” closing out the episode with one of the fastest, most memorable finishes fans have seen all season.
