“Chief Happiness Officer?” That one phrase left both contestants and fans scratching their heads during the February 25 episode of Wheel of Fortune. The puzzle, under the “Occupation” category, caught everyone off guard when contestant Paulomi Dholakia from Orlando buzzed in hesitantly — only to hear Ryan Seacrest confirm her unusual guess was correct.
Even Seacrest seemed unsure, laughing as he said, “That is it. Yeah. Correct.” Fans quickly took to Reddit, calling it “the strangest puzzle ever” and questioning if the title was even a real job.
Despite the confusing start, Dholakia impressed viewers with her quick solving skills, sharing her unique passion for “taroapy,” a mix of tarot reading and therapy. She competed against J. Mark Smith and Celina Alvarado, ultimately earning $21,750.
But it was Alvarado who took the night — solving “Life’s Simple Pleasures,” snagging $30,350 and a trip to Costa Rica.
As Seacrest joked, “Every company should have a Chief Happiness Officer,” fans couldn’t help but agree — laughter and all.
