Wheel of Fortune fans were left puzzled during the February 25 episode when the Toss-Up round revealed an unusual answer: “Chief Happiness Officer.”
Contestant Paulomi Dholakia from Orlando hesitantly guessed the phrase — and to everyone’s surprise, host Ryan Seacrest confirmed it was correct, though even he admitted confusion. “I wasn’t aware that was a thing either,” he laughed, adding, “Every company should have one, don’t you think?”
The quirky moment quickly went viral. Viewers on Reddit called it the “weirdest puzzle ever,” debating whether it was even a real occupation.
Despite the odd start, Dholakia impressed viewers with her gameplay and unique talent called “taroapy,” a mix of tarot reading and therapy. However, fellow contestant Celina Alvarado from Arizona ultimately stole the show, winning $30,350 and a luxury trip to Costa Rica after solving the puzzle “Life’s Simple Pleasures.”
Dholakia finished with $21,750, earning praise from Seacrest — and plenty of new fans online for handling the night’s strangest puzzle with humor and grace.
