Will Smith Breaks Silence on Jaden’s Alleged Ordeal with Diddy
In a deeply emotional revelation, actor Will Smith has spoken out about his regret after learning of his son Jaden Smith’s alleged traumatic experience with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Jaden reportedly revealed that at age 15, during a visit to Diddy’s Los Angeles mansion, he was locked in a cage for 18 hours as a so-called “resilience test.”
“I trusted him,” Will said tearfully, “but I failed my son.”
Will shared that Diddy had offered to mentor Jaden in the music industry during the filming of After Earth. The disturbing experience was allegedly kept secret for years, as Jaden feared repercussions.
Now 26, Jaden reportedly opened up amidst Diddy’s mounting legal troubles, including serious charges of trafficking and abuse. Will admitted he missed the signs and now questions decisions he once thought were best.
The Smith family is focusing on healing. Will stated, “Jaden doesn’t need to prove himself to anyone.” As Diddy’s trial approaches, Hollywood is left grappling with new scrutiny over its treatment of young talent.
