One day, I decided to surprise my son, John, by visiting his restaurant. Dressed in a simple, neat outfit, I entered with excitement. As I sat down to enjoy a cup of tea, an arrogant woman approached me. She demanded I move, claiming my attire was unsuitable for the reserved table. Feeling humiliated, I quietly left.

A Shocking Introduction

The next day, John introduced his fiancée, Sarah. To my shock, it was the same woman who had insulted me. I had always lived frugally, saving every penny for John’s education and future, raising him alone in a modest home.

During our lunch, Sarah remained smug and condescending. John then asked if I could lend Sarah money to open a café. I hesitated, recalling her rude behavior. When I voiced my concerns, John grew frustrated, accusing me of making excuses.
