World’s ‘Hairiest Girl’ Shaves It All Off After Meeting Her Soulmate, Here’s How She Looks After

Supatra “Natty” Susuphan, a 17-year-old from Bangkok once known worldwide as “The World’s Hairiest Girl,” is stepping confidently into a new chapter of her life. After years of living with Ambras Syndrome—an extremely rare genetic condition that causes excessive hair growth—Natty has chosen to shave her face and embrace a fresh look. Her transformation quickly captured attention, especially as she began sharing joyful photos with her husband, celebrating a love that has brought her comfort and confidence.

Natty first rose to global recognition in 2010 when Guinness World Records acknowledged her as the hairiest girl in the world. The thick hair covering her face, ears, arms, and back persisted despite multiple laser treatments, leading her to maintain her appearance through regular shaving. Yet her online posts show a young woman radiating happiness, often expressing heartfelt devotion to her partner, writing: “You’re not just my first love, you’re the love of my life.” Her relationship has become a source of strength and acceptance.

Ambras Syndrome has a long history of stigma—centuries ago, those with the condition were seen as “werewolves.” While misconceptions still linger today, Natty has been fortunate to grow up surrounded by supportive family and friends. Although she endured years of teasing, nicknames like “Wolf Girl” and “Chewbacca,” and even being called “monkey face,” she maintained an empowering perspective. She once told Guinness World Records, “Being hairy makes me special.”

Today, Natty’s transformation symbolizes more than a change in appearance—it reflects courage, resilience, and self-acceptance. By embracing her own beauty and finding love with someone who cherishes her, Natty has rewritten the narrative around her condition. Her journey stands as a reminder that confidence is not about fitting in, but about standing proudly in your truth.
