Tiger Woods is back in the spotlight as he prepares for his highly anticipated PGA Tour return — but before teeing off competitively, he shared a round of golf with former President Donald Trump in South Florida.
On Sunday, Woods and Trump were spotted at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, just days before Woods competes at Torrey Pines in his first official PGA Tour event since The Open. Trump, meanwhile, is set to attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans later the same day.
Woods, an eight-time winner at Torrey Pines, will head to San Diego for the Genesis Invitational. Originally scheduled for Riviera Country Club, the event was moved due to the Palisades fire. Woods has not completed 72 holes since the 2024 Masters.
Their outing comes as Trump continues discussions with PGA Tour leaders and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund over the sport’s future. The Tour praised Trump’s role in moving negotiations forward.
Amid this busy schedule, Woods shared heartbreaking news: the passing of his mother, Kultida Woods, at 80. Trump extended condolences, praising her profound influence on the golf legend.
