Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk recently shared his thoughts on Jesus Christ and religion during an interview with the satirical outlet The Babylon Bee. The conversation, hosted by Seth Dillon, Kyle Mann, and Ethan Nicolle, began with lighthearted topics like politics and wealth before taking a deeper turn toward faith and salvation.

When Nicolle jokingly asked Musk if he’d accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior, the billionaire paused before responding thoughtfully. Musk said he agreed with many of Jesus’ teachings—like “turn the other cheek,” forgiveness, and love for one’s neighbor. With his trademark humor, he added, “If Jesus is saving people, I won’t stand in His way. Sure, I’ll be saved. Why not?”

The hosts celebrated the moment, with Nicolle remarking, “I think he just said yes.” Musk also revealed he was baptized as a child and has continued to explore faith throughout his life.

In a 2020 speech following the successful SpaceX Dragon Capsule splashdown, Musk admitted he prayed for the mission’s success, showing that even one of the world’s most rational minds finds room for spirituality.
