‘Wheel of Fortune’ Player Misses Out On Car After Failing To Solve This Tough Puzzle

Wheel of Fortune Fans Stunned as Contestant Misses Out on Ford Explorer in Brutal Bonus Round

Wheel of Fortune fans were left frustrated after contestant Clint Ingalls narrowly missed out on winning a 2025 Ford Explorer during Monday night’s episode.

Ingalls impressed early on, dominating the first half of the game with over $26,000 in winnings and a trip to Chicago. Rival contestant Walker nearly stole the spotlight with $20,480 and a European getaway, but a controversial Triple Toss Up ruling kept the drama high. Host Ryan Seacrest told Walker, who solved “Well-Balanced Meal” without buzzing in, “You gotta use the little device,” sparking debate online.

The real heartbreak came in the Bonus Round. Choosing “Phrase” as his category, Ingalls faced the puzzle: T _ _ N _ _ _ G. After picking G, A, M, and Y, he guessed “Thank You.” The correct answer? Think Big.

When Seacrest revealed the prize envelope held a brand-new SUV, Ingalls laughed it off, joking, “That’s what I didn’t do.” Fans quickly reacted online, calling it “one of the toughest puzzles yet.”
